despawn ("we", "us", or "our") built Stopwatch Pro: Lap Timer (the "App") as a watchOS application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding your information.
The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. All data generated by the App — including elapsed time, lap times, and timer state — is stored exclusively on your Apple Watch using on-device storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is fully deleted when you reset the stopwatch.
The App does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or submit any personal details.
The App requests access to Apple HealthKit solely to run a background workout session. This workout session allows the stopwatch timer to continue running accurately when your wrist is down or the screen is off.
The App supports Siri Shortcuts to start, lap, and reset the stopwatch using voice commands. These shortcuts send control signals only within the App on your device. No user data is collected or transmitted through Siri Shortcuts.
The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services. The App contains no third-party code.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to third parties. The App makes no network connections and operates entirely offline.
Timer state and lap data are stored on your device only while the stopwatch is in use. All stored data is permanently deleted when you reset the stopwatch. No data is retained on any server, as the App has no server component.
The App does not track you across apps or websites. The App does not contain any advertising. The App does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or any other tracking identifiers.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.
Because the App stores data only on your device using the operating system's built-in storage mechanisms and makes no network connections, your data is protected by the security features of your Apple Watch and watchOS, including device encryption.
